Based in the heart of Cambridgeshire, I create, organise and bring ideas to life, whether that’s a beautifully curated celebration, a creative project or something completely new. I take care of the details, the logistics and everything in between, combining an organiser’s precision with a creative eye to make sure the finished result feels thoughtful, personal and completely you.

About the ‘Alli’ behind the AlliBee…

Hello! I’m Alli – short for Alexandra, but everyone (except my husband, who calls me Bert… long story!) knows me as AlliBee. The name comes from a lullaby my mum sang to me as a baby, her own version of Coulter’s Candy, and it has stuck ever since – so much so, I now sing it to my own son.

I grew up in a Steiner Waldorf home surrounded by creativity, kindness and homemade everything – cakes, cards, art, music, entertainment and celebrations made with love. Every birthday was a story, every detail carefully thought through, and every lost tooth was met with a tiny handwritten note from ‘the tooth fairy’.

That sense of creativity, imagination and meaning has stayed with me, and I think it explains a lot about the way I work today. I’ve always loved making things feel personal, finding the little details that make something special and, perhaps most importantly, turning an idea into something real – whether that’s an event, a creative project or something completely new.

Dance was my first passion – Ballet, Tap, Ballroom and Latin – and while life (alongside a few injuries!) steered me away from the stage, it led me towards something equally rewarding: creating memorable experiences for other people. I studied hospitality, managed pubs, worked in hotels, and spent six incredible years as a Senior Wedding Planner at South Farm, an award-winning wedding venue. I absolutely loved being part of such important moments in people’s lives and learning how to bring together the creativity, organisation and countless little details that make an experience feel special.

When the time came to focus on family and renovate our home, I moved into a new chapter, joining a pharmaceutical company as Operations, Events & Communications Manager. It was rewarding and gave me a completely different perspective on organisation, communication, people and managing projects, but after six years, redundancy gave me the nudge I didn’t know I needed – the chance to finally bring my lifelong dream to life and build something of my own.

Alongside all of that, I’d always had a creative sideline – painting, baking, florals, vinyl, personalised gifts and art. It was another little outlet for the creative side of my brain, and over time I realised it wasn’t really a separate part of what I do at all. Creativity has always been at the heart of AlliBee, whether I’m designing something, coming up with an idea, creating an event or figuring out how to bring a project to life. So now, rather than keeping those things in separate boxes, AlliBee brings them all together – Events, Creative and Project Management, with the same mix of imagination, organisation and care running through everything.

At home, I’m married to my wonderful husband Tom, and we have our beautiful boy, Henry – our whole world. He’s a daily reminder that life’s most important moments aren’t always the biggest ones, but the little moments filled with love, laughter and being properly present with the people you care about.

And I suppose that’s what sits at the heart of AlliBee too. I want to create things that feel personal, thoughtful and meaningful, while making the whole process feel as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. Whether I’m working on an event, a creative idea or a project that needs bringing together, I want people to feel that they’ve got someone in their corner who genuinely cares about getting it right.
