Based in the heart of Cambridgeshire, I design bespoke, beautifully curated celebrations that let you be fully present. From heartfelt children’s parties to intimate family gatherings, I transform each event into an extraordinary experience. Every detail, from elegant stationery and personalised decor to exquisite homemade cakes, is thoughtfully planned and seamlessly delivered.

About the ‘Alli’ behind the AlliBee…

Hello! I’m Alli – short for Alexandra, but everyone (except my husband, who calls me Bert… long story!) knows me as AlliBee. The name comes from a lullaby my mum sang to me as a baby, her own version of Coulter’s Candy, and it has stuck ever since - so much so, I sing it to my son.

I grew up in a Steiner Waldorf home surrounded by creativity, kindness, and homemade everything - cakes, cards, entertainment and celebrations made with love.

Every birthday was a story, every detail carefully thought through, and every lost tooth was met with a tiny hand-written fairy note from ‘the tooth-fairy’. That sense of magic and meaning shaped me - and it’s exactly what I bring to every event I create.

Dance was my first passion – ballet, tap, ballroom and Latin – and while life (alongside a few injuries) steered me away from the stage, it led me to something equally beautiful: creating unforgettable moments for others. I studied hospitality, managed pubs, worked in hotels, and spent six incredible years as a Senior Wedding Planner at South Farm, an award-winning wedding venue. I absolutely love helping couples celebrate love in all its forms.

When the time came to focus on family and renovate our home, I moved into a new chapter, joining a pharmaceutical company as Operations, Events & Communications Manager. It was rewarding, but after six years, redundancy gave me the nudge I didn’t know I needed - the chance to finally bring my lifelong dream to life.

Alongside all of that, I’d always had a creative sideline – AlliBee Creative – painting, baking, florals, vinyl’s, personalised gifts and art. Now, AlliBee Events brings it all together in one joyful place: where creativity meets celebration.

At home, I’m married to my wonderful husband Tom, and we have our beautiful rainbow boy, Henry - our whole world. He’s a daily reminder that life’s most important moments aren’t always the biggest ones, but the ones filled with love, laughter, and presence.

That’s what AlliBee Events is all about – celebrating those moments, making them meaningful, and adding a little bit of magic along the way.
